We fit air conditioning units in our Garden Rooms at a cost of £850. These "Heat Exchange" units are far more efficient than other types of electrical heating, cost less to run than a normal electric fire and can keep your Garden Room at a comfortable temperature on a hot summers day. They work more efficiently because they use the external air temperature to adjust the internal air temperature. This means whether it is a freezing winters day or a boiling hot summers day, your Garden Room will be the place to be. Please note that the "Outside Unit" of a Air Conditioning unit is not that pretty, so if you do want AC, it is best if you have an exterior wall of your Garden Room, that is not in full view from your house or your neighbours. The other thing to bear in mind is that Air Conditioning does not mean that it introduces "Fresh Air" into your room. It "conditions" the air, i.e. keeps it cool or warm. Seperate ventilation is still required and supplied by our "Tilt" windows on the Timber Studios, and Ventilation slats in the QC windows.
