We try to fit the studio within 6-8 weeks of you placing the order.

2. Do you make other sizes?

All local authorities vary we recommend you contact your local authority council seeking there advice, we can help should you need drawings and specification.

4. What colours are available?
The colours are standard on our offices, see interiors, exteriors for details.

5. What tax allowance I can set against the studio?

6. How long does it take to install?
This depends upon the size of the studio, but in most cases it can be completed in one day.

7. Do the prices include VAT?
Yes at 17.5%

8. Do you have brochures?
No we use the Internet and keep this updated, which keeps the end cost down.

9. Do I need a concrete base?
No, the studio sits on a chassis which can be adjusted to account for unlevelled ground, this in turn sits upon concrete feet that can sit straight on soil or grass.

10. Do we have to do anything before you arrive?
Yes you need a power supply, details are supplied on our web sitewe can send you details about the armoured cable needed.

11. Is the studio insulated?
Yes, very important, to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer, walls floor and ceiling are all fully insulated.

12. Is the studio secure?
Yes very, a key feature throughout the design was the peace of mind in knowing equipment and data are safe, the glass is toughened and the door is fitted with five lever insurance rated locks that lock into a steel frame.

13. Is the chassis adjustable?
Yes, it can be adjusted and sited on unlevelled ground.

14. Can I sell the studio if I no longer require it?
Yes, it is easy to resite should you wish to take it with you or sell it. The price you would receive would depend on its condition but you could expect over 50% of its original purchase price.

15. What is the ideal size for working in?
A difficult question to answer but with clever desks and good forethought it is surprising what you can achieve. On the larger studios partition walls can be fitted.

16. Can we see one before we buy it?
Yes, we have a show site at our workshop and we have clients who will let you visit if you live too far away. We are also looking for any clients who will let potential clients view there studio. Contact us for more information.

17. What is the internal finish?
The floor is covered with a beach coloured flooring, the walls are covered with magnolia coloured vinyl and the ceiling is a combination of pine wood and white PVC. A conduit incorporating the electric sockets is fitted, plastic skirting is also fitted.

18. How long will the studios last?
Using high quality treatment for the external timber gives the timber a long life in excess of 25 years. So with a little care and attention it should last a lifetime.

19. What guarantee do you supply?
We supply a years guarentee on our products.

20. Do the windows open for ventilation?
Yes, they tilt inwards to supply great ventilation.

21. What heating do you need in the studio?
We do not supply heating, we discovered our clients had varied tastes and all different styles are available from the likes of Argos i.e. Fan heaters convector heaters, Air conditioning units etc.

22. Is the studio suitable as a music room?
Yes it is ideal, it is insulated and we are having tests to see what the sound leakage will be. Results will be available shortly on the web site.

23. Where does the rainwater go?
A down pipe diverts the water to the ground, should you require a water butt then they are available at all DIY stores.

24. Is the studio double-glazed?
Yes, with low energy double glazed units.

25. How many sockets are fitted?
On average there is a socket every meter depending on the Studio you choose but there are more than enough.

26. Is a light fitted?
Yes, a fluorescent style is fitted on the back wall, adding further lights should you require is easy, but consider desk lights and standard lamps, these will create a better atmosphere.

27. Can we fit a telephone line?
Yes, the external corners can be removed then a cable can fitted into the internal conduit and into the blank box fitted for this purpose.

28. What floor covering is supplied?
A beach coloured vinyl floor covering is supplied with the studio. See interiors for details.

29. We want an art studio is it suitable?
Yes, we have clients using for this exact reason they have commented how light and airy the studio feels.

30. Do you supply blinds and curtains?
Blinds available in several colours are available from Argos; fit perfectly and cost as little as £5.99. Curtains are useful for a music room, as they will deaden the sound if it is required.

31. Can you supply finance?
Not at the moment we are however looking for the best deal for customers we will detail future news of finance packages on our web site.

32. Can you fit decking if we require?
We don’t at present, offer this service.

33. Can I fit the studio myself and save on the cost?
We don’t recommend it, the parts are heavy and we have special equipment to help with the installation.

34. Can I collect the studio and save on the cost?
We don’t recommend it as we have special equipment to help with securing the parts during transport.

35. Why work from a studio instead of a room in my house?
People who need to concentrate on specific details in their work find they reach a high level of concentration very quickly.

37. Can you supply office furniture to fit the studio?
We don’t, as we cannot supply the variation or the prices that Argos or Ikea offer.

38. Is the glass safe?
Yes, toughened to comply with British standards.

39. Are the windows draught proof?
Yes adjustable draught excluder is fitted.

40. Can I paint my garden studio?
Yes, we highly recomend that you paint the exterior of your studio as it will help to protect it further from the elements. We can recomend two types of paint for different finishes:
-For a wood stain finish use; 1 coat of Sickens Hls and 2 coats of Sickens Filter
-For a coloured finish use; 2 coats of Sadalin Superdeck Satin Finish
