The interior
of a Booths Garden Studio provides you with a calm and professional working
atmosphere, with excellent natural daylight from the full length windows and doors. The use of neutral colours and finishes, compliment
each other to accommodate any furniture you may choose for your office.
The internal roof on the hip roof studio consists
of soft wood rafters and white UPVC panels. The ceiling of the Lo-Line Studios is a white UPVC tongue and groove hollow board. Both ceilings are moisture
resistant and very easy to keep clean. The same applies for the white fibreglass wallpaper which covers the walls. This acts as a vapour barrier and can easily be emulsioned by you, to any colour you require. The laminate flooring fitted as standard, is tough, durable and
also easy to keep clean.

"New Specification Flooring" (see photo on left)
Brian has improved the specification on all our Studios flooring. They now come with 8mm Elka V Groove Character Oak Laminate. This is thicker than standard laminate and therefore stronger and harder wearing. The V Groove refers to the fact that each plank has bevelled edges on all four sides resulting in pronounced joints between the planks, adding depth and dimension to the floor along with giving each plank some definition. The planks have a textured surface to create a natural grain feel. This new design gives the Laminate a more authentic look. It is an AC4 Grade Laminate, fit for use in the home and commercial operations with standard amounts of foot traffic, such as in an office. This flooring is fully installed by our Team and is included in the price of your Studio, no matter how large.
Elka Maintenance Guide :-))
Laminate flooring is extremely hygienic and easy to keep clean. Here are our recommendations to keep your laminate flooring looking beautiful for many years.
Vacuumimg, dusting with a clean dry cloth, or a damp mop will prevent loose grit from scratching your floor's finish. Use mats by the entrance of doorways. Use a damp mop to remove footmarks and stubborn dirt. Always be sure the mop has been thouroughly wrung out. Never use excessive amounts of water on the floor. Never use scouring substances, abrasive cleaners, paste waxes or any floor waxes. Stubborn stains can easily be removed with Aceton nail polish remover or other mild solvents containing alcohol. Felt pads should be affixed on all furniture legs and drip trays under planted pots. Moveable furniture should be fitted with wide, rubber rollers. The use of "Soap free" cleaners on a regular basis is all you need to do to keep your floor looking great for many years. Use protective mats at exterior entrances and in heavy traffic areas. What damages a flooring normally is grit, (the same for carpets - the grit "cuts" the thread of the carpet), so keep grit and dirt away for maximum life.
Office interior (below left) Please note that the sockets are now fitted flush, in a conduit at about waist height. This means extra sockets can easily be added if required. We install 2 double sockets per wall, near the corners. |

Many thanks to Jiffy for sending us some photos taken on her iphone, of her new QC Garden Studio. Jiffy's Studio has windows on 2 sides and uses it to teach pottery and painting. She very kindly said, "I hope these will show you the studio and how it has turned out. I am thrilled with it especially on a sunny day like this." Love Jiffy
