Hi Iain,

Sorry I had intended to contact you sooner with my comments re my new studio. If I had found any reasons to complain then I could have written something different to everyone else but you have left me with absolutely nothing to complain about.

Allen and Tom arrived on time, worked with hardly a break for food or drink.. They were polite and friendly and answered all our questions. They also didn't mind my husband taking photographs of the whole process. All that remained after they had left was one very nice studio and 6 screws which is far less mess than you usually get when anyone comes to do a job for you.

Visiting other people’s studios is brilliant. We got to ask them all sorts of questions about how they used their studio not the sort of thing you can do when you are looking at a garden room you have travelled miles to see at a show or garden centre. I would be happy to do the same for anyone who is interested.

You promised nothing more or less than you delivered. I think I was lucky that the time from ordering to delivery was very short. You kept in touch, informed me of the one day change to the installation, all in all I wish I could deal with you more often. It would be nice if everyone was as open about their product and philosophy as you are.

Hope you don't tire of seeing photographs which I have attached..

Many thanks to everyone involved, I hope to enjoy my studio all year round.

Regards

Jan

On a recent visit to a 7320mm x 3660mm LoLine Timber Studio, Alex shot this short video (on the left and up a touch) of the staff all busy working in their Studio. Many thanks to Neil and the girls for their help.

"New Specification Flooring" (see photo on left)

Brian has improved the specification on all our Studios flooring. They now come with 8mm Elka V Groove Character Oak Laminate. This is thicker than standard laminate and therefore stronger and harder wearing. The V Groove refers to the fact that each plank has bevelled edges on all four sides resulting in pronounced joints between the planks, adding depth and dimension to the floor along with giving each plank some definition. The planks have a textured surface to create a natural grain feel. This new design gives the Laminate a more authentic look. It is an AC4 Grade Laminate, fit for use in the home and commercial operations with standard amounts of foot traffic, such as in an office. This flooring is fully installed by our Team and is included in the price of your Studio, no matter how large.

Elka Maintenance Guide :-))

Laminate flooring is extremely hygienic and easy to keep clean. Here are our recommendations to keep your laminate flooring looking beautiful for many years.

Vacuumimg, dusting with a clean dry cloth, or a damp mop will prevent loose grit from scratching your floor's finish. Use mats by the entrance of doorways. Use a damp mop to remove footmarks and stubborn dirt. Always be sure the mop has been thouroughly wrung out. Never use excessive amounts of water on the floor. Never use scouring substances, abrasive cleaners, paste waxes or any floor waxes. Stubborn stains can easily be removed with Aceton nail polish remover or other mild solvents containing alcohol. Felt pads should be affixed on all furniture legs and drip trays under planted pots. Moveable furniture should be fitted with wide, rubber rollers. The use of "Soap free" cleaners on a regular basis is all you need to do to keep your floor looking great for many years. Use protective mats at exterior entrances and in heavy traffic areas. What damages a flooring normally is grit, (the same for carpets - the grit "cuts" the thread of the carpet), so keep grit and dirt away for maximum life.

Perfect as an Office, you can get away from the many distractions that working in your home can provide.

Cancel that expensive Gym membership (and the travelling to it) and get yourself fitter than you have ever been.

"Get In The Zone" with your artistic flair and create some of your best work.

"Hi Iain,
Just a quick note to say thanks to Alex and Rob who installed the QC2 yesterday.
They were extremely polite, friendly, professional, tidy etc etc.... it has been a long time since i have dealt with a company that runs such a professional and caring business that actually does what it says it is going to. You should be extremely proud of the business you have built - i would not hesitate to recommend you services.

I am yet to move into the office but so far it all looks great

Thanks again."

Many thanks to Jiffy for sending us some photos taken on her iphone, of her new QC Garden Studio. Jiffy's Studio has windows on 2 sides and uses it to teach pottery and painting. She very kindly said, "I hope these will show you the studio and how it has turned out. I am thrilled with it especially on a sunny day like this." Love Jiffy
